Greensboro Date night?

So this year marked 10 years with my wife and we had all sorts of plans to go on a "vacation" weekend to Charleston without the kids, but that never happened. Instead, we are treating ourselves to a date night in Greensboro to see Garth Brooks (basically the only artist that crosses both of our musical tastes!) The older girls will be babysitting the younger kids for the price of a couple pizzas, so we will be able to go out to eat prior to the show, but it needs to be somewhere near the Coliseum.

I know that Carrabbas and Bonefish Grill are close by, as is Olive Garden and Outback Steakhouse, but I was wondering if anything else was close by that I might not have been aware if. It's been about 4 years since I spent much time in Greensboro, so things may have changed since.

Suggestions???

fawk Olive Garden on High Point Road, you're not bro enough to hang there. I'd check out Green Valley Grill up near the Friendly center, about 10 mins away from the Coliseum.

I'd get away from the Coliseum. I suggest:
Table 16
Printworks Bistro
Natty Greene's

Any of those is only a couple miles from the Coliseum, and far better than anything with in a few blocks.

Of those, Natty Greene's seems a little more our style. The others seem a little high-brow (yeah, I know - even for me!)

Old Town draught house on Spring garden across from UNCG...same type food as Nattys(better in my opinion) but more of a "bar" feel...lots of craft beers if that's your thing. I try to stay away from downtown Gboro, read the paper and you would too.

ok, seriously check out Crafted on Elm st. downtown. It is probably my favorite place to eat. I haven't had anything bad.... If you do go, start out with the stuffed avocado and some fries with their home made chipotle ketchup (this stuff is killer!!!)

Other than that, Mcouls is good (right near crafted)

I used to do the hvac at green valley and print works bistro. Both have good food and very clean kitchens. I personally like Lucky32 the best, more my type of food. They are all 3 owned by the same guy and are nice places to eat. The adjoining hotels proximity hotel and o Henry have nice 1 night romantic packages. Check out their websites to see different packages. Took my wife to print works and then stayed at the proximity for our anniversary few years ago.

I don't really go to Greensboro to eat.. but if your willing to go a little further away I can let you know some great places within 20 minutes of the coliseum

If your going on Saturday I say come out to the Meet & Greet at Smokin Harley in Kernersville (Southern Smoke Restaurant on site and AWESOME FOOD)

BBQ Brisket with Bacon and Cheese (Fat Boys Paradise)
