sweetness, good start...been wantin to build a badass grill for awhile, just havnt ever started it...you gonna run gas, logs, coal what? a buddy of mine gave me quite a few MONSTER burners i was thinkin about usin

What did you use for the burner?Do you have any pics of the burner??

Thanx,Tim

I'm an Oklahoma Joe stile smoker/bbq. My gas guy told me to just drill 1/8" holes 3/4-1" apart in a 1/2" pipe put a valve on and hook up the propane. Maybe we need a bbq forum on the board I know a lot of us are building and using our grills.

nice lookin cooker you've got there.

heres one i made a year or two ago. it was a diesel tank off an old reefer trailer.

the burner is one from a Holland grill. it now has a piece of 1/4" plate over it with about an inch and a half gap all the way around to better disperse the heat.

^ is the plate bent to allow grease to run off?,I plan to do one similar to a holland -\_/- if my freind has a break big enough if not I will have to do one like so /\

i just have it angled a little to the back.

nice work , lets see a pic with a shoulder on it now.
Like rob said if the stacks are at just one end the heat circulates inside the grill and is more efficient. def make something to cover the burners it will help with heat distribution and keep grease out of the burners. again nice work.

The grill looks awesome, I hope to build one about that size one day with one addition, a fire box on the side, smoke makes it better!
