what's the general opinion of ground hawgs? Who's run them,do they perform well in mud?

Stump brings the tech :)

I had a set of 44's on my rig a few years ago. Got them cheap and just wanted to see if my gearing would turn the large tire before I bought some new ones. They are hard, but after I grooved them (they had little tread) they did suprisingly well. Ran them at most of the regular venues for a few months. Made The Waterfall at Callalantee, Kodak hard line at URE and The Wall at DPG. That said, I did get rid of them as soon as I determined I could turn the big meat and the TSL's do hook up MUCH better.

ground hawgs are decent, good all around, but no comparison to a bogger, most prefer tsl,or bogger, some mud racers cut and run on front cuz there a little lighter. i would pass them up and save for boggers or run tsl in front and bogger in rear
