they played like garbage tonight. I don't think they wanted to win it at ALL.

On the upside, hopefully Hansborough will stay for another shot at the trophy and I might get to see him play next year.
 
Still won the ACC tourney where was your teams at. lol. Let me guess you are gonna jump on band wagon and say Kansas.(j/k) Roy behind Dean is still the MAN. We love our Heels and you know God did because of the gorgous blue sky.
 
why do you say they finally get what they deserve?? they seem to be playing great.... untill last night. As far as last night in concerned they got what they deserved....

Well I am UNC grad and I actually went to State for a year also but how a state fan brings up anything related to basketball is beyond me. Your thread makes me wish I would have started one after every bad State loss but then again if I did that we would have run out of server space for the board which would have sucked for everyone. Seriously - you take a good state team from last year and add the best freshman in the acc and somehow become the bottom of the barrell in a weak acc to start with. I mean seriously maybe this thread was a drunken rant of frustration - been there done that. But State fans chiming in now is ridiculous. It doesnt bother me (its just a game) as much as it just makes me laugh. We got beat; excuse me, got railed by a very good team with 4 or 5 NBA caliber players who are well coached and got hot at the right time. We played bad, choked, whatever but they are good as is Memphis. I know this post will only make it worse but I kinda enjoy b.s. Flame on!


NC State lost to ECU and New Orleans this year.

They piss me off too. Show me three consecutive winning seasons from UNC that somewhat resembles football and I may show my face in a football conversation.
 
i don't get why everyone is saying carolina played so bad. it was because of kansas, they dominated carolina. poor roy, still hasn't won one with his players.
