Gulches has a new way to cool off - Tube Trail

We now have a Tube Trail. That's right you can now bring a float tube and put in at trail 15 by the wooden bridge and navigate in the river all the way to trail 20, the swimming hole. Erik Hughes and friends cut a well marked path through log jams in the river for us to cool off after wheelin'. All you need is friends, tubes, and 2 vehicles. Park one down by trail 20 (out of the way of traffic) and drive back to trail 15, park in what is campsite 8 and hop in the river at the entrance they made by the bridge. It takes about an hour. Really cool.
