sure but i don't know when we will be going there. are you planning on going to the cherokee crawl at tellico?

how tight are the trails in SC are they only for short wheel bases and body damage a must?

Most of the trails at Gulches are fine and damage only occurs if you're stupid. There are 2 trails that damage is likely and another that it's iminent. I haven't been down the one that guarantees it for that reason. Wheelbase doesn't really matter there as long as we're not talking a a 4 door longbed. Approach/departure angles and ground clearance are helpful though;)

i won't be ready by then. i'm adding a front locker and exo cage before i hit tellico.

good pics

those pics you posted earlier in the thread; are they the harder trail(s) or is that pretty much how it is at Gulches? If I make it, I'll be wheelin my '90 Grand Wagoneer with 5" of lift and 33's. I really doubt if I'll have lockers by then. I just like to know I'm in for so I can be prepared.

yeah, we somehow avoided each other this past weekend. NCJeepin (Bruce) said he met with you on Friday and ran some trails, and then we went on Saturday and ran until about 4pm and I never even saw ya. I looked for you at the Outpost around 10am on Saturday. I saw Elliott underneath of his XJ, but didn't see ya. Oh well...I wish I had some pics of my junk on the trail...nobody ever takes pics of stock rigs I guess:rolleyes:

you must be thinkin of someone else. i'm the guy that met you at the outpost on the moring of the 9th to pick up wheels.

well...I take that back. Here is the two trail pictures I have of my '90.

haha...you're correct. you both have red XJs and I'm tired, so that's my excuse. (trying to save face) Oh well, I'm sure you'll see it on the trails somewhere/sometime anyway. Boy I wish I had the money for those beadlock wheels you're selling.

Most of it is like that but there are bypasses. 5", 33's, unlocked would be fine.
