Last minute decision, my boss me and a co worker are looking to charter a boat out of Myrtle Beach next Tuesday, to fish the Gulf stream, any recommendations?

I think you are going to have to go north to calabash/little river or south to Murrells inlet …

Just FYI that’s a helluva ride if you haven’t done it before, 50 solid miles this time of year.

It’s every bit of a 3 hour ride on sub 40’ and 2 hours if you get in a big boat and can maintain 25knots

I just pinged a buddy who is a captain out of Charleston but knows some guys up that way I’ll reply what he says

This is correct. I like Murrells Inlet personally. I haven't done it in so long that I don't have a recommendation for a captain or boat. Yes it's a haul but fun and worth it. If I come up with someone I'll hit you up.
Just asked a captain friend from Charleston for a recommendation

Murrels Inlet is fine, we have a place to stay in Myrtle.

Haven’t gone that far out but always use crazy sister outta murrels for our 4ish hr trip

Ok this is not my recommendation I know nothing about the names given but I trust the giver…

“The only two I can recommend right now for a variety of reasons are:
Jordan Pate - 843-814-7900
Kevin “Stump” Grant - 843-833-4477
I’m not sure if either will want to run to the Stream, bite isn’t great and time isn’t really right but those are the only two I’d personally book.
Jay S owns Aces Up. He’s long been my boy. I’m hesitant to say that because he’s had some online chatter about missing dates and not communicating …that isn’t how he normally is or has been but …. Last two times I called him he ain’t hit me back I don’t know what’s up…he’s normally my only rec up there but til we talk I can’t put a stranger on him. I mean if put you on him but thats cause I don’t like ya…and Tiny would keep him straight”

Take all that for what’s it’s worth

Yeah We've used Aces up before, he did flake out on us about 3 years ago not returning calls to schedule a trip. I think he may have had Kevin help out 4 years ago when we had three boats. Thanks, we are evaluating what's gonna be best maybe not the Gulf stream if they aren't bitting, just would love to catch some Tuna and the whole company isn't going this time.
