I'm sure it on here somewhere but I was wondering wht the law is in south carolina. We are going to the beach an I have my ccw.

IIRC CW permits only work in the state you got it. In order to carry it in another state you need to get the CW for that state also

Reciprocal states.

NC permit is good in like 18 states. May be even more. I haven't checked in quite some time. SC is one of those states. You do have to abide by their laws when packing in their state though. Is packing.org still up and running? That's what I used to use for these types of questions.

That's not true. North Carolina and South Carolina reciprocate each other's CCW laws. North Carolina reciprocates with several other states. You're fine carrying there. I'm on vacation at North Myrtle and my glock 23 is on the table beside me as we speak

Ya look out in Maryland, basically there is no CCW here unless you are/were a LEO. Not officially but it is virtually impossible to get.
Always rumors of that changing (especially since Baltimore is such a thug-haven) but unlikely anytime soon.

yep legal in sc and either way we have castle laws so you could atleast keep it in the ride even w/o a cwp
