Gun Safe Dehumidifier

I just picked up a Cannon gun safe to keep my "honey buns" and "cookies" in. Do I need a dehumidifier to keep they from getting too moist? If so what works well?

Personally I prefer that style either way because I dont have to worry about a failure. I just bake it 1x per year

I would get a gauge first and put it in there and see how much moisture stays in there. Mine stay lows so I have never needed a dehumidifier.

Just ordered this. Simple and cheap, I like it. I knew I would get the answer I needed, quickly, here.

The instructions dont say it, but bake it before first use.

I agree, but it depends on where your gun safe is.

Mine is in my basement and is insultaed enough that condensation builds up through normal temp cycling.
Now it isnt as big of an issue since my infamous lake wylie boating accident, but before when I had all my guns it was impossible to regularly use all of them.
