H1 Inserts

So I have a lead on some tires that will fit my hummers, but I dont have the inserts for them.. and they need to be recentered. I know stazworks and usa6x6 sell a plastic insert for around $50, is this something that I could pick up locally from some type of plumbing supply house or would I be better off just ordering from them. im really just looking for something i could pick up quick and cheap.... and if anyone around raleigh can recenter them that would be wonderful..

They use an oddball, expensive size of pipe. Unless you want to make 6-10 sets you are better off buying them. Don't waste your time with 6x6.

yea i saw that thread earlier but i would spend more in fuel picking those up than its worth.

There's a guy on here you need to PM...he's always got a few sets.

His name is Slick, and his NC4x4 username is 1BIGAZZBURBN. He did me right when I needed some H1 inserts and his prices were awesome.

Be forewarned, cutting the mag inserts down was a task! I would gladly have doubled the price to buy them pre-cut (maybe 1.5 hours on the bandsaw and that still needed some cleaning up afterwards).

he's actually the person I bought the wheels from, he had a set of mags for them but for some reason i said no... Im kinda mad i did that now.
