H3 oil pan for LSX swap?

Anybody heard the chatter about a v8 H3 pan (pn 12614821) as a truck gen3 oil pan replacement? Looks smaller than truck stock pan, and is way cheaper than a car pan from what I have seen. Looks like a parts counter purchase of $170 gets you all the goodies. Is this worth pursueing? I still have the truck pan on my 6.0 thats on the stand. Anybody seen one in person?

Last night I found a link to new GM F-body pans for $165 ish, will post the linky later. So, guess I will go that route. Dang, its hard to swallow that $ for what used to be a $20 part on a SBC...

The pan itself has always been about that much.

If, OTOH, you're talking the pan, windage tray, pickup tube, dipstick and dipstick tube for $165, I might actually replace mine..
