Me and JP Scout did some fishing/camping this weekend up in Ashe. Coming home yesterday abut 130 we got hit on 16S right along the New River. Never have I seen hail like that and there was 2-3 INCHES of on the road in places. Looking across to the river it was amazing to see it look like whitewater from the hail hitting it. Single cab Taco isnt fun when it sounds liek all hell is breaking loose.

Any damage to the truck??

Out backpacking in the rockies in the summer, hail is a common occurrence, but we got caught on a ridge with little cover once, with 2" hail dropping and lightning all around. What i wouldn't have given to be in a truck at that point... At least we had backpacks to shield our heads until we could find somewhere to hide.

Did you do some small mouth fishing? Man hit me up the next time you go I try and go 1-2 a month up there normally get 70-80 smallies...

Well its the Taco so if there was any damage you sure as hail wouldnt notice!

Lifnaleg we hit Helton creek. There was still some in the after the delayed harvest switch. Saw 2 guys with full limits, 2 days, We ended up with 15 keepers but we had to walk ALOT to find holes w/ deep water. Saw 2-3 20" plus fish and had 1 break me off. Damn big fish, probaly 22-23.. First line break in 3-4 years 4lb Spiderware. This one will haunt me for a while.

I will definitely hit you up as I know the New fairly well.
