Went to get a floor jack... Ended up also getting a set of 6 ton jack stands for $10 and a 12k winch for $70. Me and my Buddy bought the last two winches. Wasn't looking for a new winch but can't beat the price...

Mounted on my new Barnes4wd stubby bumper.

No coupon, went in and this weekend was their blow out sale. They had a table of marked down stuff. Apparently this was a returned unit, it tested good so they were selling it for $250. Guy working there (manager?) marked to $100 while we were standing there. We asked if he marked it correctly and immediately put two on a cart, by the time we got to the register he knocked it down to $70. He was trying to unload everything on the table haha, old guy behind us had all the 3k winches for $40 I think. There was some crazy deals.

No didn't even think about it. I'll see if anything is on my receipt.

I bought a chop saw there and got the warranty. It was $79 when i purchased it. It burned up. When I took it back it was on sale for $59 so they gave me a new one and $20.

I stand corrected, it's within 30 days. I always mess up 30,60,and 90 day deadlines.
Don't think I can get any extended warranty. My reciept says as is and a random product number. Doesn't list the winch. I could get it on my floor jack tho.

Hopefully the manager recognizes you and will still offer the warranty. Didn't think about it being on a huge discount.

MAN, That's Crazy! Even if it never pulls you [haha] you got your money's worth, in the cable! I recently saw advertisement for New winches, "at warehouse price", yea. Might have been E-Bay. Forgot the name, but Tried checking them out. The American co., that "assembles" them, says, "they are manufactured in China, to our specifications, & assembled, in the USA." One review said it is basically the same as sold by HF, & others.

Yeah, it works in and out with no load. Has some scratches from the 'retesting' I assume. My other winch is a 10k and needs a new cable. Not a fan of buying Chinese but we'll see how it goes. If it quits I'll sell the cable and parts haha.

Even if it's broke, most anything on it is an easy/cheap fix. They don't warranty open box/returned items. And you can haggle on the price, the manager has final say.

Yeah, woke up today to see this dbag and my brother bragging on facebook about getting 2 12k winches for $140 bucks... Knowing this I will start hanging out in harbor freight more often.
