I have been informed that southern rock racing is having an event our weekend on the Putney side as base camp for razors and rock buggies. That is why no one could get a reservation there, I am canceling my cabin because I'm not going to hear their drunk asses all night long.

We will be staying at the Everett Side and everyone will have to fend for their self for a place to camp, I am going to the little Campground about a quarter mile past the pass office on the right where the Goldfish Pond is. If you wish to stay at the dairy Hut you better call and reserve it right now. I had no idea that event was scheduled so expect for the woods to be crowded.

Do they still allow folks to camp at Putney campground where the playground and mud hole was? It’s like 3miles from trailhead, I’ve always camped there and loved it bc my dogs could roam around and the drunktards usually on the mtn... unless is rains then you gotta dig a trench around ya tent lol
