Digging through my desk at work today and found an old flash drive with a ton of wheeling pics from 2005. Harlan, Tellico, Jellico, etc.
Thought some of you youngins would like ot see what Harlan used to look like.

First two are from Can Opener, aka Upper Rock Garden. This trail used to be dry as a popcorn fart and pure rockcrawling. Then the water and snakes took over.

Here we have Railbed. This is the actual ledge that is now like 4' tall and 30' wide. You used to ride the mini rock garden in the background up the "ledge"

Lower Rock Garden hasn't changed all that much on the bottom end. The upper side has bigger undercuts now and some larger ledges.

There was a time when going up Mason Jar was a bit hairy. Once you climbed past the 2 lower sofa sized boulders you HAD to go over Whale Rock. There was no off camber bypass on the left like there is now. Currently you can go left and slide around the 1/2 dead tree and continue. Back in the day, you had to climb Whale Rock, drop in, go crazy off camber while teetering about 200' to the forest floor below on the pass side, climb up Whale Rock #2 before dropping off and on up the trail.
