Just a heads up... When I called home from Evarts I used the pay phone across from the dairy hut. I got in a hurry and dialed the soposidly .10/minute sticker on the phone. Well I just got the phone bill and lets just say it wasn't even close..

6.0 min = 14.83
8.0 min = 12.71

Just a FYI.. I didn't remember to use one of the other 'normal' collect call providers. 1-800-callatt, 1-800-collect etc..

It'd be great is someone could remove that sticker off the phone.. A quick web search revealed countless complaints and poor business pratices and lawsuits against "ZPDI" the parent ripoff company.

Note: this has nothing to do with the pay phone company itself but the service I used that was advertised on it with a sticker..
 
holy shit!!!! Can you dispute the bill with the phone co?

I've used that phone on many occasions. I didn't use it last time there, but it used to be 5 min for $ .50.
 
I was gonna call and dispute but after a brief web search this is how this company operates.

Shit happens, I'd rather spend a few minutes warning others..

Fine print ? hell if i know, it was dark and the sticker wasn't 'new' ... Ill just remember to bring a calling card..
