harlan labor day weekend

Roger that... Anybody have the # for cabin rentals. I don't have a camper to hook up and would perfer not to camp in my usual location at the top of Cream Puff and Rail Bed. I imagine it would be miserable there that time of year. But I'm not afraid of sleeping in the dirt for a couple of days either!!! Always see some good stuff in the middle of the night...

If there is 4 or less in your group cabins 1-4 are great (4 is handicapp accessible) 5-6 can sleep more

heck we slept at least 9 there one night this past weekend and werent crowded

If you tell him Ron and Rob sent ya/recommended him he will give you a lil discount
You are 2 miles tops from where Chip and those guys are....and you have showers, heat air and no set up :bounce2::bounce2::bounce2:

That will be great Matt, look forward to it. Hopefully we won't be repairing stuff when you get there! Would be even greater if you could be there Thursday night and ride with us on Friday! IF you are there early enough maybe you can do an evening/night ride with us. We usually eat out when up there to help the local economy so keep that in mind, less time preparing for meals more time for wheelin, lies and fire!
gonna do our best get there early as possible. My brother is in the navy & moving from connecticut to cali and will be visiting me wed and thur, so fri may be the best we can do unfortunately. Love nite runs!, myself & jeepn jason both drove my rig up pull cable sat nite at toy run, truly awesome.

I dont know if i did much driving matt. It was more like listening! haha.

It was a good show whether you were driving or listening. Hate I'm missin a trip to harlan. Hopefully be ready for the fall crawl. You all have fun. Did you get that driveshaft balanced?

Thanks Jamie, still gotta get a couple of shafts cobbled together before then, been tackling a frame bendage problem. The drivers side frame rail is tweaked up about 4" after the toy run!

Anyone from this forum going that's not on 40"+ tire w/ no body?

I'm considering driving up if I get my axle shafts and anti-rock here in time to throw them on... It would be our frist trip to Harlan so i'd like to follow along w/ someone...

It'll be late friday nite possibly early sat morning before we make it. Leaving mt. Airy at around 6pm tom evening. Hopefully we can make it to some campfire stories before you guys crash friday night. Question, is there a local source for firewood?

Had an AWESOME time wheelin with everyone that made the trip. The weather was Perfect for wheelin with just a short rain shower Friday evening. Was good though as it knocked the dust down for sat and Sunday. Was good to see most all the trails marked and rated. Even saw the county mounties riding around the trails on their side by side. pics tomorrow. Oh and there was free firewood for the whole campground. It can in handy!
