NC4x4 will be hosting live coverage of the ECORS KOH Qualifier race in Harlan this Saturday. Coverage kicks off at 9AM. Thanks to the folks at Nuthin Fancy Video and Photography for manning the computer this weekend.

Satellite? How rich do you think I am?

Apparently there's enough of a cell signal up there to run a wireless broadband card. I haven't verified this myself, but it's what I've been told. So if nothing happens on Sat AM... :lol: I'm sorry.

But I think I've seen Snappy online today, so there must be something.

Well that's why I was asking, didn't think you were swimming in cash.
Weren't you the one that was arguing it would be near impossible to get the needed bandwidth for this from just a broadband card?
 
The text stuff is easy... streaming video depends on how strong the signal is. We'll find out for sure on Saturday. :D
 
You should have signal easy at the top of Whitetail, Upper Rock Garden and a few other locations in the park but those are two where I know almost everyone gets a good signal. Ive uploaded pictures from both areas.
 
Never tried uploading video, but unless you have unlimited on that card it may kill you. I know the one we used to have had all kinds of limits. Tried to watch a movie with it and it worked, but slow, and after watching about an hour of video i noticed I had already gone over the limit I was allowed.
 
Dan from Nuthin Fancy is working on the live video... if nothing else he'll record it and upload it in chunks. We'll have a couple of different people working the chat to keep everybody updated! :beer:

Its between Races right now, Coverage should start back when C Class begins. It goes on and off line when there is no action to show. Video has been good when its on, Not choppy at all. Use the Chat "Trailhugger" is there keeping us updated.

Looks like Dylan took First in the B Class.
 
He says he's actually 2nd... he started first and came across the line first, but it's all based on lap times.
 
C Class will probably start a little after 1, since A and B had to restart and we lost some time there... still have to retape the course and make sure people have a chance to get down to the rock garden, etc.
 
Anybody know how PJ an Cris are doing?
 
Terry, PJ is on his 3rd lap. He broke a stub shaft and had to short course back to the pit and so had to start the lap over...
