Has everybody been to Harlan KY yet? If not you NEED to make plans to go Nov 4th weekend. Some trail building will be taking place as well as a lot of trail riding. If you haven't heard of this place yet, its awesome! its currently twice the size of Tellico, and has plans for a BIG addition. The trails these guys are building are awesome. very technical in most cases, ledges, lots of rock. THese guy's truly have a vision. You need to go help, this place will supplant tellico, paragon, etc, as the east coast wheeling spot.

We have a pretty good sized crowd going to Harlan now. The trails are awesome and will challenge the most capable rigs out there.

Chime in if ya want to go and we'll get the rest set up...

I am unaware of any closings. I would expect Ronny to have posted up someplace if any problems existed. And to the best of my Knowledge the rockhound will appear. We have been given a "promise"!

Ours is county backed.

Come on then, let's see what ya got to offer the park.

You could haul quite a bit of gear and workers in your Suburban if ya decide to make the trip...

we could use as many backs as we can in middle rock garden.
Their is some insane lines in there... all we have to do is open it up.
We have 3-4 trails that can be worked.
Just need the backs.

40 to Asheville, pick up I-26/Hwy 23N towards Tennessee in Asheville, turn left onto 421 just inside the Va. state line, stay on 421 into Harlan.

Or just caravan up with us and we can show ya...

3 hours from Asheville to Harlan Ky.

I would like to make this trip. Don't know any of the people but would like to see the area and be glad to help on the trail work. I just need to know when and where to meet. Thanx.

I'm driving up either Thursday night or Friday morning if you want to caravan up. I assue you are going to go 77 to 81. If so I live at the top of the mountain right as you get into VA. Just PM me if you are interested.
