After 5 years of collecting dust in my basement, the "new" Baja SS's are almost in!
When mocking up the harnesses, I ran into a couple of things...
The shoulder straps will loop over the seatbelt bar fine, but the base harnesses are a different story. They're 3" wide with adjusters below... the issue is the adjusters *might* fit inside the seats (but don't really want them there for both space & comfort reasons), but the section between the adjusters and attachment eyelet are too long to keep them *outside* the seats.
They're so long (6"+) that I can't get them mounted below the seat bars far enough. The only option I can see for keeping them outboard of the seat and correctly aligned/angled is to have the "tails" either shortened or remade completely.
Are there any NC vendors that could do this for me? Suggestions
