I filled up @ a nearby HT for the first time 4 nights ago. The gas was 2.56 for the reg. and apparently I can get another discount for the gas for buying xx $s of food in a week @ the store.I don't know where/what brand of the fuel they get but my pos is running better w more power and better mileage. Anybody else get their gas @ HT?
 
We get the HT discount at BP. It was $2.25 regular price, and $0.40 off, so $1.85 a gallon.
 
You earn 1 point per $1 spent, before taxes, I think. Every 100 points earns you $.10 off per gallon up to 35 gal. You have until the end of the following month to use them.

But not all BP. When I was just there to move my wife to Aberdeen we shopped at HT and got the VIC card. As I was leaving Aberdeen to come back to Louisiana I stopped to top off the truck. I went inside to swipe my card and Wanda looked at me stupid. She explained that I wasn’t using my anything but cash or credit/debit to get fuel there. Unfortunately there isn’t a HT gas station in Aberdeen.
 
I have been getting gas @ kangaroo aout 90% of the time and my ride seems to be running worse/power/mileage for a month or more now. I used to get gas now and then @ Murphy Express in Fuquay and they were always 10,20 or more cents less a gal. than any of the chain stations. I also noticed my performance improved as soon as I left there when I filled a tank that was near empty in my truck or suv. I don't get down there much now because the traffic is a bitch in FV. The HT is 3 mins. from the house so I'll be going there now.

Bi Lo used to do the gas discount, about the same as Trailhugger said. They stopped long time back. Had the Walmart/Murphy card, until they Lowered the discount! Had better deal on my Discover. I got a Shell card that gives .05 off.

Not sure where it is all available but I've been using the GetUpside App for the month. Usually get 11-18 cent back per gallon on diesel, basically $3-4 each fill up and stations I have to choose from are already cheaper or the same as Sheetz.

how often do the offers change, just looking at this today, looks like i can get gas for 2.19 a gallon at my normal fill up spot or with the app 2.18 after the discount. not really worth messing with, same with diesel it's within a cent of each other.

Pretty much everytime you open the app, It really depends on what station you fill up at. The two Shell's I fill up at have always been 11c off at least.

By that math, the ability to track all of your movements is worth $20/mo to the app developer.
 
In K-vegas yesterday ..... someplace gas was 2.49 ...... and 2.19 with a sumpthin-er-other card ( which we didn't have).
But we also had a full tank, soooooo.
Then again, I was on meds, nice day, warm & groggy in the car after a good meal.
Might have just been a dream.

Saw it for 2.09 last night. Somewhere east of Charlotte, west of Greensboro. We left 2 hours late because of screaming baby boy, so it was some time between 11pm-12:30am, so I may have been hallucinating. But I'm pretty sure it was a Quiktrip sign and it was 2.09 reg, 2.89 diesel.

$2.11 at the Murphy USA down the street. $2.20-2.29 most places, $2.60 at the expensive places.
 
2.08 at sams club gas in kannapolis. Anyone else notice the gas went up 30 cents right before the holiday?
 
I'm gonna go ahead and assume I'm the only one that didn't/doesn't mind $4-5/gal gas prices because it greatly reduces the number of horseshit drivers on the road. Again...one of those questions where if asked, unanimously, no one themselves will be a bad driver, but by god, they can point one out.
