I saw that too. I always wondered what that stuff goes for and don't say "whatever the highest bidder pays", smartasses. I mean is it worth the time to go? If everything is going to be ran up through the roof for junk vehicles or can someone actually find good deals.

@BIGWOODY Any of those Benz's get your attention? Is there a 108 in there?
I don't think any of those are 108's, but worth going to look because it looks like a couple have no title and no good description. As for me dragging more stuff to my place...did your son not tell you how much crap we had laying around? I need steel to go up so I can crush about 50 or so.

Yea He enjoyed seeing some gems to him there. If I we were not moving his brother into Francis Marion we would go to check it out.

I agree...but 3 miles from my house, I'll go look .

IF you see a parts 108 with a good truck lid and rear glass I would be interested in getting it for the boy. If it is cheap enough....... I think we've found them on line for about $200 each. I know I'm dreaming but you never know.

We looked here: Public Auction Sale: RUSTY GOLD Garth Payne's collection classic cars - Trinity , NC

Would these not potentially be 108's?

15-1970s Mercedes 4 door - no title
19-1970 Mercedes 280-S
64-Mercedes 280S
79-1960s Mercedes 280SE
85-1972 Mercedes

Well, I'm here. It's a damn shame and a crime against humanity how this guy "stored" these vehicles.

Also I've seen tags on cars and trucks that have come here from as far away as Indiana to bid on vehicles. It's not that impressive to come that far. Most of this stuff is so far gone it's crazy. There's a few salvageable vehicles and some parts. But damn.

$650 for the Jeepster.

High price I saw was $3900 for the Model A. It was in pretty good condition all things considered.

Lowest price was a pile of scrap called a Honda Moticycle at $15.

I think one of the Corvairs went for $25-$30.

It was fun to watch and also bumped into Greg Slade out there.
