Just about your only choice is probably ACA. I talked to BCBS to try and get a better coverage policy. All they did was send me to healthcare.gov
Find a local "navigator" for ACA. Depending on your income (I think the limit is around 70k this year), you can get 100% subsidy.
Most if the ACA plans are crap if you travel. Emergency only....and if you break a leg, the ambo ride and ER would be covered, but seeing the orthopedic later that day and getting it set may not be, because it's no longer an "emergency". Similar with a heart attack, if you think you are having one and go to the ER, it will be covered if it was really a heart attack. If you were wrong, and only thought it was one, then it really wasn't and emergency and they may not cover. It is a mess....our own local hospital and ER is out if network for us.
I am looking for a plan "B" for travel.
