Heated garage space for rent in Charlotte?

I want to strip my XJ this winter and do a boatload of stuff to it. However, my Charger refuses to share space with the XJ in the garage, so I need to see if anyone has heated garage space for rent. Would be willing to trade the space for IT work or web work. You name it, I've worked with it.
 
I'm not in Charlotte and I'm a little bit of a drive for you but if nothing else works out shot me a pm and we might can work something out that would be cheap for you if you have an economical car to drive down here.

Man this is gonna be a good thread I hope.I have been wanting the same thing forever.Some where in the Raleigh/Durham area I could park 1 project at a time along with my tools.Some where I could have heat and install a lift if one wasn't already available.I have looked at place after place and I can't afford $1500 a month.I have even thought about getting 5 or 6 guys together and renting a bigger space.
 
The Ford place just went out of business here in Mocksville..The place is huge. We can get a lot of racers and wheelers in there..lol make it the Mooresville of ECORS.

I've heard of this kind of thing 15 years ago in the Boston area, communal space, communal tools, communal knowledge. Thing that usually F.......s it up is keeping paying members and the whole insurance/liability issue (thank your neighborhood lawyer!). Needs to be a tight group of friends who have been together for a long time..............
 
I found a place with 10 bays and 7 lifts.Central Heat for the whole shop and a decent office space.I think it would be cool to get something like this and put a 120 screen Theater in the Office and like a pool table or something.Problem is it's still $4000 a month before you pay utilitys.
 
damn that second one is awesome hell i would just rent it just to get out of the house once in a while to kick it a have some beers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!seriouly thinking abt it and putting my pos there......
 
Man y'all have it made down there.I can't anything like that even near to here.
 
Anybody near New Bern/ Havelock area want to do this? I found 1250 sq ft for 300/mo or 2500 sq for 550/mo 18' door and a concrete slab floor. Space is 10 years old. fenced,gated and locked. Electricity/no water. Can have the whole 7500 sq for 1200/mo. Think about it, 4 guys for 1250sq is $75.00 /mo. ya'll probably spend more than that on :beer: Could be a nice toybox!!!

do you know who to contact on this property? I've been by it a few times and saw some potential. Your more a local than me, being a future transplant.
 
I'm going to have a spot for rent prob first of July its got heat/ac air compressor ,1200 sq foot, big door , close to mooresville dragstrip and room for a trailer $500 a month call 704-622-0239
