heated seats in ur rig

Hey Jason some of us still have windows and a heater haha!:flipoff2: but no joke sounds like a good investment for your guys and jason for SURE knows what he is doing as far as anything that goes on inside of a vehicle!

OK, I'm gonna ask! My father has Air Conditioned seats in his car, and I want some in my Yukon! Is there a kit out yet? It's hotter here longer than it is cold!

Hmmm... in response... there always seems to be an abundance of "Hot Air" flowing whenever I am in your presence! :flipoff2:

Don, my father has a 2006 Cadillac Deville, that is the big one. Front and rear seats are heated as is the steering wheel, yes I said the steering wheel is heated! It also has air conditioned front seats! Low, medium, and hi, This feels great when it's about 95* out! The seats get cool real fast, long before the AC does! Works great on a bad back also, just like a ice pack. No they don't blow air, it's electric and great! I am more interested in this option than heat.

PS.........I must be slipping! No smarta$$ remarks or snappy come backs, I might be coming down with something! Stay tuned in and don't worry, I'll be OK!

Is this what comes OEM in a caddy?

terry im not sure, ive not torn into a new caddy seat yet. I doubt it though, the company in the link that i just posted usually carries cheap china junk, but it could be the same technology as how the caddys work. As a side note, i would think for the coolers to work it would need perforated seating?

Oh and i havent found heated and cooled steering wheels yet! LOL

The leather seats are not perf'd! I've looked under the seats and can't find anything that would give me a clue. A mass of wires because of the 8 way power and powered recline etc. Also power lumbar and power side bolsters. The more I think about it, ditch the Lazyboy and put one of these in front of the TV with a battery and charger!

I'd be interested in a kit without installation. If the price is at least comparable to all the others out there

HOT BUNS ?

I could see it , in a daily driver. But as a trail rig, I'm thinking,I might use mine 10 times in extremly cold weather! I'd rather invest my coins in some thermals.:shaking: PS: Terry, trade that Tahoe for a SST. & [ tell Don, U bought it with Ur tip money ]

I like the HHR but the Yukon is my work truck!

Nothing real important to add, and I don't know what manuf. you are using, but i just got a set and put them in my yj in my corbeaus, and they are great. The heating panels on the ones i have are bright red.

I would recommend these to anyone... Do a great job on a semi-open top vehicle of keeping you warm alot better than the factory heat with no windows

So I guess you have to take the seats apart to install these kits?Do you have a distributor for a new seat cover you can install when you are putting the seats back together?I need my front seats recovered anyways,it would be cool to get them heated at the same time.

I do oem fit leather kits where i work, im not going to fool with that on the side, dont wanna take business. I do have to take apart the seats, if you can find an oem cover i can recover them at the same time, or not you can have them installed then have an upholsterer take care of your covers for you

Ok, installed a set in some corbeaus tonite, and they work awesome! Mcutler got his drivers seat done tonite, and i put his optima on it to try it out, needless to say i didnt wanna get up..

however it does take about ten minutes for them to get nice and toasty, once they do they feel great!

Im still working on pricing, i should be able to do the corbeaus installed for around 120 per seat, but im working on that right now. If anyone has any questions just shoot me a pm. Thanks

Jason, I was wrong about the Caddy seats! They are perfed, just letting ya know. I'm afraid the driver seat might be bad. I'll let ya know.
