I have checked with AutoZone, Oreileys, and Carquest for an elbow that is 5/8 on one end and 3/4 on the other to loop my heater core hoses together. They sell the straight pieces, but I think an elbow shape would work better. Any suggestions on where I might find this.....I thought I saw one online through Summit Racing but can't seem to find it again.

You could just do something like this and eliminate the hose altogether coming from the engine

Go to a lowes or fastenal and buy a 3/4" FPT elbow and your barbs with 3/4" MPT threads.

I've never heard of or seen elbowed barbs with two different sizes on each end. T's, yes, but not elbows.

Thanks for the info, and Summit Racing sells one, it's an elbow that's 3/4 on one end and 5/8 on the other, I think it was $8 or $9. I picked up the straight 3/4 and 5/8 sleeves from Autozone as well as some hose clamps. I might just pull the heating unit out all together and shelf it until I can tear into it another time. This jeep has been pulled apart pretty good so it will probably never have working heat, defrost, etc, it's a cruiser only vehicle. There are some random drill holes around the firewall that I plan on patching up with some fiberglass cloth and resin to keep the motor stank out of the cab as best I can. Trashing the side-pipes and running the exhaust out the rear has helped a lot with the exhaust coming into the cab. I'm just ready to drop the top for the summer and finally enjoy it.

I got everything from advance auto parts. This post in my build thread shows a little of what I did.

Bought the reducing couplers and just made small enough nipples to make the transitions.
