I REALLY wish they would put one by me! TSC is a total joke now a days and the closest Agri-Supply is over 1.5 hrs away. I’ve never been but I’ve heard great things about RK and some of the stuff y’all talk about on here sounds impressive! I think they would make a killing if the built one in Moore County!

There are plans to build one here... they purchased the building in 2020, and havent done anything since. Maybe one day.

Newton is closer to me, so I guess that's better, but they really should put one down in Lincoln county between Denver and Lincolnton. Still a decent amount of actual agriculture up that way, plus a shit ton of big money pretend farmers from the Charlotte suburbs, and then a bunch of dudes like me who spend money on Stihl, Milwaukee, and other stupid things they don't need that are a "good deal".

Agri-supply is to Rural King as Ace Hardware is to Northern Tool. Both have their pluses and minuses, but one is "more". But Rural King can also be more of a circus than any of the others. Especially on the weekends.

This was my first visit and we went there to get something specific.
Stoopid Long Covid - BS kept me from getting a good look around since I have trouble walking.
In there just about 3 minutes before the wife abandoned my crippled butt to go find the popcorn!
The nearest one to me is in Martinsville, VA ....50 min drive.
I will go back!

We always try to hit one in PA coming or leaving the in-laws I think it is better than the one here in Morganton. Maybe due to size or location IDK but the tools and equipment seemed more variety and quantity.
I'll not pass up a chance to go to any of them though.

The plans were squashed by the town of Conover. They wanted to change something about how Rural King sold guns and Rural King said "nope" and immediately put the building up for sale. Thats the second store that wanted to move into that building that the town of Conover ran off.
I know the big thing with Rural King is they want to be on or extremely close to an interstate.
