Finally time to put a proper handle and latch on my ~450lb rolling shop door. I figure a standard residential handle won't last more than a couple months, so I'd rather go ahead and spend a bit more and get something thats gonna last. The door generally rolls with 20-30 pounds of force, though initial opening is probably closer to 50-70lbs of force. Is there anything out there that will hold up and not cost a fortune? I need a standard latch and a deadbolt (2 separate assemblies are fine), and it must be something that I can turn and pull on at the same time.

Roll-up or sliding barndoor?

... and why not make your own? :p
I guess you could call it a sliding/rolling barn door. It is all steel, with 2.5" diameter ball bearing in a c-channel track on the top, and rubber isolated ball bearing guides on the bottom. I made it myself. Based on the prices of some of the handles I've seen, I might be better off to make it myself too.

Use a D ring , bear claw, and striker plate like we used on fire truck doors. I'll find a picture possibly.

Ideally something more conventional, like the one I have now, just in a heavy duty version:
