I have about a 2ft sqaure box weighing 170# maybe. Where can I get this shipped out from? Appreciate any help!

I have used Forward Air. They are by the airport. You have to take it to their terminal though. The buyer or recipient would have to have a terminal near them as well.

where is it headed?
i might have a solution.

Old Dominion used to allow anyone to ship private deliveries on their trucks, you could even pay the driver with cash. I don't know if they still permit it or not.

Get it setup through freightquote.com and then drop it off at a Fedex terminal or something.

what is it? whatever it is (shipping class) will affect pricing.

Class 50 is misc metals (if I remember right...) and ships fairly cheap. I thin Class 85 is used auto parts and has a surcharge on it due to potential hazards...

Define what it is, exact size, if you will drop it off at terminal, or picked up at residence, picked up at business, etc. and it will affect price...

I've always had good luck with AAA Cooper. Most competetive by far, so much so that I quite getting pricing and just using them 100%. Prob shipped out 200 pallets in a years time...

I boxed up an atlas II a while back like you did. Ended up sending it Fedex freight. It was right under 150 lbs. you might want to verify the weight. Bathroom scale should be close enough.

Thanks but a STAK weighs over 150# DRY. This has quite a few extra parts in it as well. I'd love to be able to weigh it on my bathroom scale but we have a fancy POS digital that is very finicky. I found out the hard way trying to weigh my triple digit dog:shaking:
