Heic file

So, my painter sent me new pics of my truck and they are an heic file. That's not allowed here. I changed the file extension to upgrade and it says it won't recognize it after that.

Any ideas how to overcome this?

Try this to save as JPG:

Windows (Photos):

Open the HEIC image with the Photos app
Click the "..." (More options) button
Select "Save as"
Choose JPG as the format and save

Mac (Preview):

Open the HEIC image with the Preview app
Go to File > Export
Choose JPG as the format and adjust quality if needed
Click Save

BTW, anybody that has an iPhone ought to do this:

To disable HEIC (High Efficiency Image Format) on an iPhone and save photos as JPEGs instead, navigate to Settings > Camera > Formats and select "Most Compatible". This setting ensures that all new photos and videos are saved in the more widely compatible JPEG format.

Shit, if i would have known you could fix it, I would have held out on my new subscription, lol.

I'm thinking $5 isn't worth the time.
