Helicopter rides in URE

Just wanted to let you guys know that this year during the Uwharrie Mountain Festival (2nd Sat. in October, at at Kings mountain point) they are going to be doing helicopter rides from the Outpost parking lot. I think it is a 4-6 minute ride that takes you to the lake and back and the cost is $40.00 from what I was told. So any of you thrill seekers have fun. Im keeping my feet on the ground.

The Uwharrie Mountain festival is not an event the stables plans/runs, its a community event that the county I believe been doing for years. Still a cool thing to do thou if you're around.
