hi .my name is lefteris,and iam from greece ,i.have two militarys cars .The first car is a unimog 404 model 1957 and second car is a Dodge m37 model 1965.This forum it is a very good forum i do not very speak english :shaking:

The unimog 404 very rockcrawler car.This has portalaxles,very crawler and diffenterial.lock ,front&rear ,47mm axles,7,56 ring&pinion .The transfer box it has a 6 speed high and 6 speed extra low,and 4 speed revers .The tires 42/12.5/20 trelleborg

The m37 dodge very strong car this has not portal axles ,before 2months i put ,very strong axles and lock-right lockers frot-rear. and electric winch front-rear WARN 16,5LB TI And 2 batterys 100amp transfer it has a 4 speed ,hi-low and 5,83 rings&pinion .it has origina engine 3880cc petrol

so how long did it take you to get it to the condition it is now?

I am asuming the before picture is not of the same truck since it was taken in oct 2008 and your truck is in the background.
 
Just Curious where did you get these? are they military surplus?

probably the greek civil war. the US supported the democratic army of greece as they fought against the greek communist. something we dont hear much about in this country.

Truman heavily supported the greeks with equipment supplies and CIA "war advisors". many of the tactics we used in Vietman were tested in greece first.
 
Nice trucks and beautiful country. I have visited before, and would love to go back sometime.
