my name is bob and this is my first post.my first question is i have a 2008 honda pilot 4x4,i do have the capability to put in 4 wheel drive and keep it there as long as i keep the speed under 18mph,does anyone know of any reason that i can't or should not take it on the beach at fort fisher state park. any advice would be appreciated.thanks

You will do fine as long as you let your air pressure down to about 15-20 psi. Carry a strap and a board to put under your jack.

thanks for the quick response.i saw a check off list not too long ago and among other things they also listed an air pump,towing straps and the name of a local towing company thats 4x4 capable just in case. again thanks

DO NOT GET IT STUCK
At least don't let the front tires spin for very long. They will burn up your carrier bearings and the end result will be a new trans.
