Help identify trash in oil pan.

its an 81 22r that had a tick, I found the material when i pulled the pan to put a new timing chain on. My guess was material from the timing chain guides, but they dont have material missing like whats in the pic. Whatever it is, its not metallic, and fairly strong.

Yep, that's timing guide plastic. Maybe it's from the first time the timing chain was replaced.

take a lighter to one end and confirm its plastic...
