My daughter told me about a boy she goes to school with. They are in the 6th grade and have been going to school together since kindergarden. He has other issues but he recently had surgery for a tumor in his brain(unsure of where). But now they have found another one further in and he has to travel to St. Judes children's hospital in Tennessee. He is going to be there for a few months and his parents and siblings will have to travel back and forth weekly. I read that one parent was staying with him at all times and the other would fly out on the weekends. All they have asked for is prayer which would be great but they could also use flyer miles on Delta or US Air if anyone could spare them. I will get more info from my daughter. They also have a facebook update page for him. If anyone is interested I will post a link.

seen this on 4x4Grace. that is awful. no flyin miles to spare, havnt even heard of it. but ill keep him and his family in my prayers.

my thoughts and prayers for him and his family. St Jude's is a GREAT place that does amazing things for children and their families, I've been donating since 98. Unfortunately I only have continental miles, 45,000 of them. I checked to see what I would have to do to give them to someone else, they want $7.50 per 500 miles, that would be $675 to move them if I was reading it correctly. That is crazy :shaking: If they can use continental miles and I can get continental to move them without paying 675 they can have them.

Medulloblastoma Is what Tom has. Right now they are planning a car wash fundraiser on May 15 from 9-12 location hasn't been set yet. I will update when I know where.
 
Bake sale and car wash will be at 1038 Ijames Church Road
Mocksville, NC 27028 on May 15 from 9-12. If anyone needs directions let me know I hope everyone can come.

In our Thoughts and Prayers. It makes me feel so bad for someone this young to have to go through something like this, not to mention his family.
