Have all done good work for me and would be glad to fix you up.
Even though Im not sure how you trow gears, if it can be done those three can! They can probably assist with your brakes as well.
 
Go ahead and do the 5.29s. I ran 5.29s with 33s for a while before stepping up to 35s. I wouldnt spend the $$ on 4.88s because eventually you will get bigger tires.


What tire size are you running now?

i have 35s right now. i want to be able to drive this thing on road and off. if 5.29s can be ran on street ill do that. i also want to fix up the steering, and breaks.
 
While not a Toyota, I DD my jk with 5.13s on some tiny 35s (actually measure 33.25) and it isn't bad at all. With that said, I am looking forward to some 37s.
 
I had 529s and 36's for a while powerful on the road. Went to 37's then 38.5's the to 39.5's and still would run 65-70 down the hwy.
 
I would not run any other gears than 5.29s since you will be driving it on the road alot. 4.88s will leave you wanting more and 5.71s are only for mall crawlers. Definately get a reputable shop to set them up and you will be fine.
