Help me compare these two Warn winches.

Or, the side by side of the two at Summit.

I'm trying to decide if the M8000 is worth $150 more. Aside from nearly double the line speed I don't see any major differences.

Ordered the M8000 today. Got it for $638 to my door from Quadratec. They matched GoWarn.com's price.

Maybe so, but I didn't (and don't, I double checked) see Clemson 4wd as a forum sponsor on any forum I'm on. Quadratec, however...

At face value Clemson 4wd listed their winch at $659, Quadratec at $671, and GoWarn at $598+tax, free shipping, $638 to my door. I called Quadratec because they sponsor a forum I participate on and multiple other forum members recommended them, they were happy to match GoWarn's price. Tell Fred to buy a diamond.
 
Fred don't get on puter much these days.
But Ive bought winches from him since the early 90s...and he was old school then.

Ive got no problem with Quadratec, just a heads up for all things Warn there is a lil company down here in SC that wont be beat on price.
