Well I think you may be selling the 208 short.
1) You say keep the 208 which implies you already have it, so it has price going for it.
2) It weighs about half as much so it has weight going for it.
3) If you are "keeping it" I assume your shafts work, depending on eas that may not be the case on the 205...more cost
4) It may break if you are hell on it, but you can pick them up for $100 all day long and frequently less...so that offsets some of the breakage concerns
For a harcore dedictaed crawler, go 205. For someone who says "I'm not going to hit the rocks that much" Id never pull a perfectly good 208 ou because all the cool kids say you should.
