Help me pick

The old MT and new KO2 have many similarities I think in application. Aggressive side lugs with closely placed center blocks.
The old MT wasn't stellar in sticky mud and the KO2 won't be either.

Both are good daily driver tires though. A dedicated toy can get away with swampers, but they suck on pavement.
The KO2 should last longer than the previous tire, new compound. The siping is supposed to make it grippier on pavement and rock too.

Gonna order today.

The new A/T's do look good. My boss has them on his Tacoma. I think my negative experience with them was due to having slightly over 4,000 lbs on the front end of my Ram.

those deep, staggered blocks on the edge of the new BFGATs tread should be a big improvement in traction over the KOs straight edge.

I ordered the tires for pickup at the Raleigh store. They sent me a 10% off installation coupon, depending what they charge I may let them put them on.
My local guy is now $20/tire with a new stem.

NEW SHOES! Who is gonna show me around URE?
Don't want to damage it now, just the easy stuff. :D
My rear locker has never been used for anything really tough.....

Well my insomnia may be to blame but the NEW bfg AT looks great. More than just a new sidewall. The second video goes into the tech of the blocks and sipes.
I can get a set under $600 from 4WheelParts and pick up at my local store.
This is a really good price, they are over $750 at Costco.

Having same thoughts as you for the xterra my fiancé just bought.
When I went to pick them up, The manager told me it had been a mistake.
I got them for $146 per tire. He said that a bunch of folks had bought them and they had to honor it.

It was 70 off plus another 50 off

I love these tires. They ride better than my street tires that were on it before and that's the truth.

I went across a plowed up field today pulling my trailer in 2wd without the locker engaged and never spun.

I have had 2 people in parking lots tell me how good the truck looks, never had that happen before.

Right tires make a difference LOL.

This old thread had me get the new KO2s. My local tire place had the best price so went this morning to have them put on. Figured I'd ask if they bought used ones and they gave me $125 a piece for the stock BFG mud tires with 20k miles on them. Hmmm, great offer and I don't have to deal with Craigslist people? Done!
So much quieter now. No annoying hum when I roll down the window. Plus the bigger size fit on the stock carrier without obstructing the brake light so no need to lift or move the light.
