I have a Dana 44 from an 84 Jeep Wagoneer with the vacuum actuator. I installed it in my YJ and now I need to do the brakes. I recently purchase calipers from it and I cannot find the dang banjo bolt. Is this axle the same one found in a 1984 CJ-7? Can I use the bolt from an 84 CJ7 caliper? Please help asap.

Here is a link to the bolt.

The banjo bolt is 7/16-20 thread available at any autozone/advance/napa. You will probably need to open up the holes in your brake line fittings to accomodate the large banjo. Make sure you get copper washers to go with the new bolt.....

They should have a little tray/drawer behind the counter that has these in it.....

need to double check that. I just got some yesterday for the same calipers that were 10mm. In the napa book it said they went 10mm in 1979.

Just take your caliper into autozone to make sure you get the right banjo bolt. They have a decent selection you can sort through. They are behind the counter. Take your brake line hose too if you can.
