help, need trailer tire off of 40 exit 210

if anybody has n 8 lug trailer tire 235 85 16 i could borrow/buy it would be greatly appreciated. i have alreadsy blown my spare in the last 30 miles too.
i am at exit 210 on 40e just outside of greensboro/highpoint.....no tire centers open yet......call me at 336 592 0893 if you can possibly help....thanx in advance, greg.
 
Snappy is in that area i believe. im not too far myself but dont have anything you need. I think JC isnt too far away either.

I was about an hoir and half behind him. Me and Strader stop and robed the spare off Brandons trailer at rides and dropped it off.... He just pulled up at his house. It was pretty cool to see gregs tow rig with a class a motor home and my rig sitting behind it on the off ramp!!! Says a lot about the ECORs group of guys!!!
 
Thanks to Snappy, John Herr, And Craig Scibetta I got my shat off of 40 and back home in 1 piece. We blew a tire approximately 25 miles before that and we were already running our spare when #2 went. Thats the third blowout on this trailer set up i've had, all of that garbage brand have now blown off.

even though we b;ew two tires on our way home it was still a killer weekend and its also nice to test the limits of a high lift jack repeatedly.

john was running me all over in his truck and trailer to get the new tire.

on a side note I was charged 2hundy for a 150 tire at best and (the wrong tire at that) and they attempted to charge me over 200 more to put it on the rim. ( I was at their shop rim in hand) While I was ahem...happy to pay more for the right tire, i felt gouging the install was highly excessive. John and I went to a Merchants where they mounted it up fer FREE. outstanding!!!

Anyway, place was Piedmont truck tires in Greensboro
 
Piedmont Truck Tires is officially on the FU list now. Thanks for the heads up. While we're at it, what was the brand of the tire that kept blowing out?

Glad y'all made it off in one piece. It's always good to see the group coming together like this.

In my defense...I got my vacation cut short due to a work call and was hurrying to get back...and you had somebody there that could make a parts run. Figured you'd have it under control.

Didn't have a spare anyway.

Piedmont Truck Tires is the place that tried to charge you $200 to mount a tire you already had? I have been there a few times since they are just across the highway from my work and have been satisfied. I wonder if one of the guys that works there was unofficially 'working' on Sunday, and just thought he could make some fast money.
