I have a guy wanting me to ship him a bumper that ways about 50 lbs and is 54x24x36. just some rough measurement. i live in charleston, sc and he lives in jericho, vt. what would be the best way, and how much yall figure it would cost. thanks in advance

Box it up, measure it and weight it. Most shippers have a calculater so you will know before you actually ship it.

I wrap a lot of bumpers and sliders in just plastic wrap and ship them that way. I have found that fedex is much cheaper than UPS so I use them. You can go to their site and plug in the info.. if it is too big it will tell you and then you'll have to ship freight.

Forward air is going to be the cheapest route. The only downside is that you have to drop it off at their terminal and the buyer will have to pick it up at the terminal when it gets to Vt. Ive shipped alot of motors and complete motorcycles through them. Here's their site.

that box should still ship UPS/Fedex. Though you may get an oversizes package fee. Goto the web sites and punch in your info and it will spit out a price.

wrap it in shring wrap, put a label on it and pick your favorite carrier (UPS, Fed Ex, etc. etc.)

Thats the easiest/best way. For small parts that can fit in a box, ship them seperate. If there is a swing out tire carrier on there, take it off and ship in 2 pieces. It will be cheaper
