help please

On what?

:confused:in a 2011 jeep grand cherokee?

im trying not to take it all the way off to get just one bolt size

I'll play...

The mechanic with the snap on wrench...in the ditch....at Harlan...on Saturday?

Close?

Seriously...you say there are 4 bolts take one out on the other side maybe?

Or go to a chrysler dealership?

If these 2 fail drag an entire bolt bin under your truck and try every fawkin one of em

You don't have to take it all the way out. Just take one more bolt out...drive something else to the store and get a new matching bolt. One more bolt out of the cross member will not cause it to fall out. Put a jack under it if your that worries about it.

Wow maybe the OP should take it to a garage, becasue it does not sound like they are very qualified to be under that jeep working on it!

Hah! Classic!

Seriously that was "fawkin" hilarious.

To be a little less harsh and help you out, just pull off one of the bolts/nuts from the other side and take it to any hardware store (lowes/HD/advanced). They will have a board with some threaded pieces on it that you can see which one matches.

all i asked was a simple question and all i get from yall is sarcasm thats some bs and thanks to the very few who actually tried to help.

I'm sorry we came down on you so hard about your "simple Question". If you have 4 identical bolts holding something on and lose one of them common sense tells you to use one of the other three to determine what type of bolt is needed to replace the missing bolt.
