Were looking to sell our cj but need a little help with pricing...

I have a 1979 CJ7 for sale. I have been using it as a daily driver for several months now. It has a chevy 350 engine with a turbo 350 transmission, and a 600 Holley Carb.
Has KC Lights on the front, and a spot light on the rear. Dana 44's, 33'' Tires, Lifted with 4inch Rough Country Leaf springs and 2 inch shackles. The wiring harness was completely replaced a few years ago.
Has NEW alternator, coil, MSD Ignition, Plugs & wires. NEW brakes, front and rear, (that includes NEW rotors and drums, not just pads and shoes). All replaced in the last 2 months. Any advice would be appreciated. Hope you can see the picture.

Really... Dang I was a little off I imagined this thing being worth more. I've seen these going for way more than that maybe we like this thing too much

If so just keep it, but I would say about the same as the others. Usually swaps can bring prices down just because the buyer doesn't know how reputable the person who swapped the motor/trans is.

If you had a price in mind you should just list it at that. You'd probably do better at fetching a higher price on craigslist. People here aren't generally going to pay extra for a 30+ year old CJ when newer ~10 year old TJs are hitting the market at 5-6k

Last June I sold this one for $4800. I sold it in less then a week. It did not have a top or doors and was 6 cyclinder with a transmission that jumped out first. It will come down to finding a buyer that is interested.

Its crazy a few years ago if you had a cj that had a good body no rust and ran good you got top dollar but lately i noticed the price of those vehicles has really dropped which i dont know why. Mabey because of YJ's and TJ's . I would bet the price will go back up especially if its rust free just depends how long you want to hang on to it. I would keep it looks great to me and not let someone still a great rig at your loss.
