Help Veterans learn Farming

A very close friend of mine started the Veterans Farm of North Carolina originally as a concept to help transitioning Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen to learn how to farm. This is not just planting crops or raising chickens but many different aspects of the agricultural lifestyle and business practices. He has purchased land and is working through volunteers and donations to clear it and establish his dream. I’m asking this Holiday Season that if you have some extra dollars that need a home for the holidays consider donating to what I consider to be an amazing cause that helps those who have served move into the civilian world.

This sounds like a great cause. Farming is great to get more people involved in, esp when you teach them the ways to do it, while working with the earth vs against it.
