I'd look for a pair of axles from an 05-up Superduty, and use the radius arms and trackbar on the front, and put the TJ brackets on the rear.
A lot of people think they're weak because of the balljoints, but I've never seen a dana 60 balljoint fail that was properly maintained. I've seen plenty of kingpin knuckles fail though.....
What year? The 99+ superduty stuff is stupid beefy, and 05+ even beefier.I saw a balljoint 60 break an upper balljoint when beating on a difficult obstacle and cause a ton of carnage in a well maintained race rig. I have never seen a kingpin 60 fail. I have seen kingpin bearings that went ungreased eventually allow slop in the steering, but even then the rig was very drivable and caused no other damage.

X2. These things dwarf kingpin 60s and come with 35 spline outers from the factory. I even like the 99-04 axles too. The best part is they're cheap. You should be able to find a set for less than 600 bucks. A lot of people think they're weak because of the balljoints, but I've never seen a dana 60 balljoint fail that was properly maintained. The 10.5 is nothing to laugh at either. 1.5" 35 spline shafts, 10.5" ring gear and factory disk brakes.
Where are you finding the 05+ Super Duty axles for $600 per set? I've been keeping my eyes open for a set and they are usually around $1000 for the set.

I don't remember, but I read a lot about it a couple months ago. 05+ are coil spring with radius arms.I dont know squat about SD axles. What is the difference in the 05+ stuff compared to the earlier SD axles?
