Time has come. Crazy growth has Metalwerx looking for an intern. Full or part time.

I need someone to learn offroad fabrication and grow with the business. Welding skills a plus, but not as important as an aptitude for learning tube bending, fit-up and sheetmetal fabrication.

There isnt much money in this starting out, so if you are interested, dont plan to quit a job to come do this! The faster you learn, the faster the pay will grow!

If this sounds like something you are interested in, email me with info about yourself and any experience you may have.

Pablo will come cut the grass.

Crap I wish I was closer.
I have a little something something to bring to the table and would be flat honored to learn from the best!

If my son was old enough to work, he'd be all over this.

If only I lived closer! This is exactly what I've wanted to do while in school.

Like everyone else has said.... "I wish I were closer to you" I'd love to do something like this in my spare time and get better experience.

Another "wish you were closer"

MetalwerX is now looking for two people!

One position is for an experienced fabricator/welder/mechanic. The other is for a part time intern to learn the business of offroad vehicle fabrication and assembly.

For the full time position...
Experience in fabrication and welding a big plus, but aptitude and an interest to work and learn in the offroad business is most important. Good mechanical aptitude a must as well.

For the part time position...
This is an intern position. Any experience is helpful, but I am most interested in someone who loves offroading and wants to learn to build and prepare offroad rigs. From street/trail rigs to full tube buggys.

Starting pay will depend on what you bring to the table!

We are a small but rapidly growing offroad shop Located in Hickory, NC. Shop hours are Mon-Fri 8:30 to 5:30 (often here after 5:30! Generally here on Saturdays when we're not wheeling.)
We build sliders to full turnkey buggys! Quality work is our number one priority. I have a shop full of work and I need help immediately!

Stop in Metalwerx or email us at scott@metalwerxdesign.com

If I was young again, and a little bit ambitious, I would strongly consider applying for one of those positions!

And... I don't think young fellow could pick a better person to learn from. Good luck, Scott.

Scott, let me know if you need a lacky to help get caught up after work a few nights. I'd be glad to help.
