Currently I'm running a 1990 K5 with very little body left narrowed front and chopped top and no rear.

350TBI
700R
NP-241

with all the parts i've gathered i'm wondering how this is going to work out and need some good suggestions

52's up front with DIY4X 7.25 inch shackle
S-10 57's in the rear with DIY4X shackle flip and 6 inch shackle
14 inch travel shocks

I want to run rockwell 2.5 tons and 47's or the 53 inch michelins. what would i need to for the steering thinking about full hydro and pinion brakes front and rear. I want to strech the rear out about 6 inches as well.

Do you think the toploaders will hit the oil pan and the gas tank or should i move the gas tank or go to a fuel cell?

can you see any problems with the current motor/tranny/tcase setup and running rockwells?

no ideas?...damn this is the first time i've seen silence on this board

i atleast thought i'd hear ricky chime in with some retarded advice:flipoff2:

well i know with my 78 f250 im going 3 in lift springs in the front and dropping my spring mounts 10 inches to clear tire and hoghead

Fuel cell in bed, Ditch the 53 idea( too heavy, kill rocks). Rock on maybe custom oil pan to solve your front clearance issues.

Use the explorer rear springs then you can kick the axle out an extra 5 inches, just mount your tank in the bed like Kevin's.

its been a while since youve seen the blazer rick no more bed left just a pile of tube next to the shed:flipoff2:

you will break/deform a rear S10 spring first time out...

idk, I ran em on the Jeep for a while, and my bud Kevin with the K5 on tons and the 44 gumbo's has had em in the rear for a while now . . . . .

But ladder bars would def be a good idea, I just made a bunch of stuff for my jeep including traction bars on the rear, ladder on the front, seems to be aight so far, held up good while I was hammering down in the Sparta Mud Bog :driver:
