Like jody said head room is where you'll have the biggest problem my 85 4runner has a cage that Mars fab built and I busted my head every time I get in or out and it's built as close to the roof as possible my 83 I am going to just tie into my tube bed and run it through the fenders to the sliders

Thinking something like this if I do an exo. I don't have a bed though so I'll have more tube in the back.

When ordering my budbuilt crossmember should I order it with a drivetrain lift. Options are none, 1", 1.5", 2" and 3".

So I'm about to order the budbuilt dual case crossmember and still haven't figured out what amount of drivetrain lift to order. Right now I'm running leafs front and rear so my 63" Chevy spring hangers are rock anchors anyway. Later I would like to 4 link it so that would leave the crossmember as the next rock anchor.

Any suggestions from the guys that have been there done that.
