im doing a three inch body lift and 6 inch suspension lift for my 86 blazer am i gonna need to lower my transfer case?
idk i have the body off the frame so i figured the bigger the betterwhy would u want to run 3" body lift? I know alot of ppl that run 36s-39s on a 4inch lift with minor cutting
thanks man ill try that outI've got 6" and a 1" body lift from ORD.. fit 37's with minimal trimming....
But yeah, lower your Tcase, most GM's have the spacers already there. Look at the cross member where it's bolted to the frame. On the top of the frame you'll see them.. the bolts are extra long the the spacers are on top of the frame between the nut and the frame rail. Just move those spacers to in between the frame and the crossmember and you're all set. And your driveshafts will work alright with a 6" lift, until you get real crazy. I ended up breaking a Ujoint after about 2 years of use (even with a 14bff in the back)
